Dholavira Kutch

Dholavira is located in North Gujarat of Kutch district of Bhachau taluka. Dholavira was discovered in 1956. But his remains remained buried in the ground for 35 years. Excavation of Dholavira started in 1990. After much excavation a very valuable item was found in which some stones were found. It points to the civilization of the Indus Valley Civilization. The purity of these stones is not yet understood, because no one can understand the language on those stones. It is said that there is a symbol, and that symbol is still a secret.

Dholavira in Gujarat was part of the Indus Valley Civilization before, and was one of the most beautiful cities. Archaeologists believe the 120-acre city was 5,000 years old. Dholavira lived for about 1500 years. The men of Dholavira were members, they had very good technology even at that time. In 3600 bce they built underground sewers, they had baked bricks. And this city was developed by making a plan. The people of Dholavira used trigonometry at a time when the world did not even know about it. Dholavira was a city of Indus culture where water was also available. The city was situated between two rivers, the Mansar River in the north and the Manhar River in the south, connected to each other by tanks. They were using a dam pan. Dholavira was a port of the Arabian Sea 5000 years ago.
