Talaja jain mandir





Talaja village is located in Talaja taluka of Bhavnagar district in the state of Gujarat. This Jain temple was established by Kumarapala during the 12th century. This is a holy place of Shri Shatrunjaya Panchtirthi and it is a part of Shatrujaya mountains. The temple was last renovated in 1815 (VS 1872). This temple belongs to the Shwetambar sect. Of Jainism. In the Padmasana posture of the protagonist of this temple, there is a tall black idol of Lord Sumatinath --- cm tall. The idol of the Lord is full of miracles (miracles); The whole area was relieved from the disease that had spread here during that period with the effect of its appearance. The idol has since been called the true Sumatinath. The height of that mountain is 62 feet (19 meters).
